Question For Serious Tae Bo Fans

I did Tae Bo several years ago and enjoyed it.  I have been working out for about 6 weeks and it is going well....I was thinking of buying this.  First off, is this package a good deal?  Second of all, how do I know if I can do it?  I hate to buy it and find out it is too difficult for me.  What do you think?

Got mine at a second hand store.  four of the series for about $10.
Seach on kijji or craig's list for them if you do not want to spend to much money.  Someone will have some that are not being used.

I've been doing Tae Bo for about 1 year and lost 45 pounds really solely because of Billy and Shellie. I've never used his Amped but what I do is go to Amazon.com and I read the reviews before I splurge on some of his tapes/dvds.  I mainly use his Advanced Live tapes almost everyday to keep my cardio up and tone rather than bulk.

However, I would expect it to be similar to the Billy Bands (Bootcamp editions) where you add more resistance whereas the Amplifier is probably used to help you build control over your moves and maximize your results. It really depends I suppose on whether you want to focus on toning rather than cardio. Also, check out some other websites where they feature live clips- even youtube I'm sure would have some clips!

Are you saying it is an advertisement?  If so, yes it is.  Just wanting to know if this is actually a good deal or not...do not want to be ripped off.

I think it is totally worth it. And don't make whether it being too hard or not a factor in whether or not you buy it. It will give you something to work up to and challenge your body so you can burn the most calories. Of course dont' try to hurt yourself by doing the most challenging dvd first! I love Taebo and it is my only real source of exercise. I'd say go for it. I personally use the resistance bands, but have been looking at the Amped videos for a while now. Might buy it for xmas.

Hi I got AMPED set and the amplifier bar, and it is SUCH A GOOD WORKOUT!!!! God grief, that bar seems light, but they really get it to burn, and it is fun too! The motivational stuff at the end is nice albeit it cheesy, but I cannot recommend it enough! But get it cheap ok, I got mine off of ebay bc its hard to get the dvds in australia!

There are so many Tae bo tapes out there.  I personally started out with Billys Fat Blasting Cardio (have lost 20 lbs since April)  I am now starting the Amped series.  I find it a little more challenging, and it seems to be geared more towards toning rather than losing the fat. (not as much cardio). 

I am so far behind the times, I actually still have his first tapes he sold on infomercials and I still like em. It was hard for me at first, just because I was so out of shape, but the kids do it with me now and they are great little motivators. I still sweat by the end, but at least I GET to the end now!

I love everything billy blanks. I am convinced he can do no wrong!

ive never brought the set, but I have his get celebrity fit sculpt., and his tae bo cardio circuit 1. You should look on amazon or half.com for the set or his DVDs, because you can finally find them for cheaper.
