Question-does this mean I should up calories? (Not another, I'm only eating 500 cal post either!)

Ok, let me know what you think.

My stats: Female, 32yo, 197, 5"5'.  Want to get to 135-150.  Currently eating around 1400-1600 a day (CC reccomends 1456).  I have my account set to light active.  I am currently doing about 30-40 min exercise about 4- 5 days a week on Wii Active 30 day challenge and extra exercies. Oh, and I work in an office also.

So I ordered Power 90 and will add it in to my 30 challenge workouts (these will probably decrease slighty since I am doing extra ones now and will stop when I begin P90).  So should I stick with the cals I am eating now or change over to moderate and take CC recommendation?

Thanks in advance!

I'd definitely up it to moderate. Here's the short-hand I've heard: if you're working out 30 minutes most days a week, that's light; if it's more like an hour most days, that's moderate.

Wow, you have my stats, just about.  I'm 32, 5'5.5", and currently 189.  I'm eating about the same as you, most days, but not exercising as much (not any lately - another post...), and I am losing weight, so I would say you probably should be eating more.  It sounds like you will need to up your activity level to moderate.

The true test, though, is how fast are you losing?  You want to lose at least a pound a month, but no more than 2 a week, so eat the level you think you should, then re-evaluate in a month.  An month won't hurt anything, whether it is too much or too little.

This was useful to me as well.  Thanks.

Thanks!  The clarification from light to moderate really helped.
