A question for women who lost a lot of weight...
How much did your bra size change? I've been curious about this ever since I started. I need to lose another 95lbs to reach my goal weight and I am sure that's going to change my bra size by a lot. Just curious about how much it changed on others. Please share. :)
I've lost 70 lbs in the past year, and have gone from a squished-in 40F to a comfortable 38DD. So far. To me they look pretty much the same, just proportionately smaller with my overall weight loss. I am really curious what will happen with another 70 lbs loss though! I come from a busty family, so not really concerned they will disappear.
Oh boy, I lost about 140 lbs and went from a 44DD to a... well... 36B (and that's on a good day with a pair of tube socks in there). At least my back doesn't hurt anymore though :o)
I haven't recently dropped a lot of weight, but my weight has fluctuated my whole life (and now I've got the post-baby belly to lose - at least 35 lbs of it). I've noticed that I do in fact lose it in my breasts first, but I've never gone below a B-cup at my smallest, and have ranged in band size from 36 to 42. It seems my band size changes most because of my awful back fat problem! At my heaviest (185 after giving birth) my back fat looked like an extra set of breasts helping me keep my balance!
I think chest exercise has more to do with droopy/perky factor than whether you've had kids. I'm still nursing my 18 month-old and do push-ups regularly, and I get a natural lift from having strong pectoral muscles. Once the milk stops coming in, though, maybe I'll change my mind on that one.
My last diet I lost 25 pounds...sad to have gained it all back ( I'm down 8 pounds since I started my diet again) When I lost my 25 pound I went from a 38DD to a 36C. The 8 pounds I have lost this time my bras fit better..and not any more under my arm pit....LOL
....Hope this helps!!

Hi,
I lost 80lbs. I want from a 38/40C to a 36B but they looked like flattened pancakes against my chest. So, most of the mass was stretched skin!
So, I had small implants put in and now I am at 36C. My very conservative plastic surgeon took out alot of skin but respected my wishes that my chest would be natural.
Good Luck.
OMG! mine are flattened pancakes too...i lost 73 lbs and now I've got the ugliest boobs ever... they were a big 38C almost a D, and now I'm a 32B...
Looking forward for surgery T_T ...I'm 19 and extremely self conscious about the way they look.. stretch marks and all..

I weigh 79 pounds less than two years ago. I have gone from a 42G to a 40DD and expect to be down to a 38D or DD before I'm done.
Someone earlier said they like the womanly curves of very large breasts, but I tell you I felt about as sexy as Aunt Bea ("Andy of Mayberry"). When my boobs were that big, along with my belly and my butt and my thighs and everything else, I looked like a block more than a curve. And the bras you need to hold those puppies in place are hard-core!
Yeah, the girls sag, but I'm 51, I'm not expecting them to stand up and look at people. How I look in clothes is what matters to me now, and they look pretty damn good in a well-fitted bra. And my husband doesn't mind because there's still plenty to hold!
last tikme I lost weight I was like completely flat chested afterwards, it was DEPRESSING!!! then I got big and my boobs are too big for 99% of bras, which sucks slightly less (at least I have something), I could only hope to land on a D, or better yet DD, I am really tall, and I like having boobs!!! Even though Hubby is a leg man...

OMG I remember that, that was the WORST!!!! I hope that that doesnt happen to me again...
Having lost 70 lbs [before, not now ~ I'm fat again], but anyway, when I lost it my breast never got smaller they just changed shape [40DD - 38D]. I lost weight from my ribs and dropped a cup coz my shape changed]. I'll tell ya that this late in the game, I will definately get a boob job if they are like "deflated balloons" when this weight comes off again! lol If you're worried, start saving your pennies.
Well, I can tell you the opposite -- what am am after weight gain compared to what I was at my smaller size ;)
When I was a happy, content size 10 I was a 34C. When I started gaining weight the first thing I noticed was my bra, uh, overflowing. I'm about 35lbs heavier than I was, and I'm currently at a 38D. And GEEZE, while they look nice in shirts an' all, they're SUCH A NUISANCE. I'm actually looking FORWARD to them shrinking up a bit @_@
Shoot - I don't care about the sagging boobs - I want a tummy-tuck! My belly-button frowns because of my skin apron!
I've lost 37lbs and went from a 40DD to a 40C and I am still shrinking.
YEA TO NO MORE BACK PAINS!
however, if the girls aren't supported by their caretaker they look a little "deflated" hehe.
I've lost 45-50 pounds in the past few years, and I went from a 38DD to a 34DD. My boobs are still holding strong -- except the whole sagging business. At least my husband loves them. :)
I've lost 85 pounds and the only thing that changed for me is my back size. So I went from a 38 D to a 34 D, the cup didn't change.
I've lost 116 pounds or so and i went from a 38D (a small D cup though) to a 34B. It kinda sucks, but i don't mind that much. I just wish there wasn't so much spare skin around there now, but i still have a decent amount left lol so I'm not going to get too depressed. It seems silly to want bigger ones when this is obviosuly my healthy and normal size of them when i'm a normal weight. Its like telling my body it got it wrong wanting more... haha well thats my logic anyway.
So far I have lost 48 pounds. I've gone from a 40DD to a 38DD, which isn't enough change for my satisfaction at all.
so, is there any way to tell which part of your boobs is fat and which part is like, breast tissue?
The top half of your breast is fat cells, the bottom half is milk cells. The top half will get smaller and bigger losing and gaining, the bottom half is all you.
Of course, it's not like you can look in the mirror and see a line where one half begins and the other ends.
But this explains why fat drags the boobs down. I weight 96 pounds less than I did 3 years ago. I used to have an Aunt Bea bustline. The girls look like two socks full of marbles now. *sigh*
(But they look great in a bra!)
when i was at 135 i was a medium/small D
and at 180 a large DD
