1. What languages do you know? English and a bit of japanese and a even smaller bit of Spanish. I am going to go back to school next year and I intend on being fluent in Japanese, or at least know alot more.

9.  What do you look forward to most about Christmas? Going to my grandmother's house, and the cookies, I forget what they're called, but they're in the shape of a snowflake and they have confectionary sugar on them... sooo good :) they start with a "P" lol

Pfeffernuesse Various German folk make different kinds of Pfeffernuesse. The ones I make are in the tradition of the German-Russian Mennonites of central Kansas. Now, most of the Pfeffernuesse you get in that part of the country are mighty hard and crunchy; folks dunk them in coffee before eating, and they use the leftover ones to fill holes in their driveways. The ones I make are not so hard, and they bake up more flat than round. My recipe comes from my good old cousin Bernice.

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream together, sequentially, the butter, eggs, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl.
3. Sift in, and mix in, all the other dry ingredients.
4. Knead the dough lightly, roll it gently into snakes, and cut them into fingernail-size bits.
5. Arrange the bits on greased baking sheets and bake each batch about 10 minutes.

This recipe makes a LOT of Pfeffernuesse, but they keep in the cookie-jar for months.

3.  What is/are your fears?  (Spiders, etc.) I'm not really afraid of creepy crawlies, but I am afraid of being in crowds of people who are drunk.

1.  What languages do you know? I'm fluent in English and French, I understand Spanish and can speak it a little, the same (to a lesser degree) goes for Italian and Yiddish, and I can read Latin passably.

7.  What is the weirdest concoction you have ever made with toast? erm...possibly mini pizzas when I was much younger, slice of bread, ketchup for sauce, sprinkle of oregano to turn the ketchup into pizza sauce, cut up hot dogs and a slice of cheese, (no wonder I'm so big!) bake it in the oven (hence the toast part)
