Quick Baby Weight Loss???

Quote  |  Reply

Ive read a lot of stories of memebers that have more than one child that say with the first child the weight came off really quickly that it is with the 2nd or 3rd child that the weight has stuck on. Im just curious I had a hell of a time getting the weight off with the first one, how did you guys do it???Im so scared of the weight gain again it really makes me think of just sticking with my one child, any advice, just curious??? not planning on another baby for at least 3 years.

Well For specs, I was 19 when my son was born, I breastfeed for 1.5yrs., initially my weight came off no problem dropping like 30 lbs. in like 4 months.  *NOT TRYING TO* at all, and then suddenly about 1 year after his birth, I put 20 lb.s back on, and now I am trying to lose that and THEN some. I too was afraid of gaining again, so, I had an IUD put in, and here almost 3 years later I still am trying to lose my weight.  So, I really think it just works differently for everyone, ALTHOUGH, I REALLY hadn't been putting forth any effort to lose the weight!  Which is key to your Q.

Well I had my first baby and I'm in the same boat as you are with the weight loss. I really think it's my own fault tho. While I nursed I ate really badly and didn't really exercise and so while I dropped 30 lbs nursing I was stuck at one weight for a while. When I did change my eating habits I noticed I dropped the weight again.

CEREAL!

I Know it sounds crazy but after I had my first baby, all I ate was cereal...I lost 61lbs in like three months! Then I got hungry, lol!

Sounds like me... Im stuck at 120 right now and I want to get down to 115 cause that is my perfect weight! Im 5'3 so I know Im not fat.. I just really want to fit into my jeans and for that to happen I need to be no higher then 115! I was actally down to 117 but my milk supply went down so i had to start eating more and as a result im back to 120! I know i sound vain but babies are expensive so its not like i can go out and get a whole new wardrobe and im sick of wearing sweats all the time!
