I didnt do that. I went right up to my maintnece, from being at a 500-700 deficit. I have gained 6 pounds in 6 days. crazy. I know some of it is water weight, cuz its impossible to do that... but it does mean that I am gaining.
Will it level off? Will I stay at this higher weight now? Do i go to a small deficit to loose it again? Or do I just wait? Will it come off eventually? and how long do you think it will take?

When I first started to maintain I tried to slower up my calories and failed. It was making me feel out of control for some reason and I was pretty much panicing for a while there that I could never near normal again. Finally I decided I had had enough and started eating almost enough to maintain all at once. I didn't gain any weight doing it that way like you did though. I wouldn't worry about the 6 pounds yet, there is no way to gain that much in less than a week unless you have been eating crazy amounts of food. Give it another week and see what happens. Don't worry about the weight, even if it really came back (which I doubt) you know you can get rid of it because you already did it once!
