"Quotes" Say More About You Than You Think!
Hi all! this is meant to be one of those fun posts - that EVERYONE can take part in, and might even help us to learn a little bit about one another!
Here's the plan:
When you open this thread, you must pick up the nearest book or magazine that you are reading or have read for personal enjoyment, open it to a random page and, without looking, point to some text. Whatever sentence you're pointing to, post it. The fun part is, every time you check back in, you have to post again, so we'll be seeing a cross-section of your interests!
I think it could be interesting to see what quotes come up, and what others can learn about us from them.
To get the ball rolling, I'll go first...

So, I randomly pick the longest sentence in the book. Dang, no wonder this book (The Illuminatus) is such a good sleep-inducing read. Oh, and funny how the quote I chose contains three quotes and the word "quoting".
