Last night I was watching the show Mythbusters (good show), anyway they where talking about the myth that when your cold if you drink alchohal it will make you warm... well when they got more into detail about why it makes you warm, they where talking about how achohal promotes good bloodflow and opens capilaries and things of that nature... This is prolly gonna sound really stupid but wouldnt easier blood flow when working out be good? do you think there would be any benefits of like taking a shot before going to the gym... lmao

LOL never ever thought about that but i did know that. A passenger on the Titanic survived in the artic waters from drinking a bottle of whiskey just before the ship went down. doing a shot wont get your heart rate up though for exercis. dont see any benefit at all-unless you feel the need to take a shot beforehand just to get throug your training ;)

Funny mental image of the new "health trend" of drinking alcohol before a work out.

News Headlines

"Emergency room numbers increase drastically as staggering joggers are pried off light posts and increased bravado leads to 100lb increases on weightlifter max-outs. Local bicyclists, Joe Smith, knotts his brow in concentration as he describes his near death experience of a terrifying head-on collision with a car...parked in a driveway"

lmao.. nice one guys... i know its not practical, just throwin it out there...   i could see walking into a gym and seeing a whole bunch of people stumbling and flying off treadmill..... people passed out on benches lol Laughing

Perfect example on another episode of Mythbusters. They were doing the myth that working out will help sober you up. They both got drunk and one of the guys hopped on a treadmill and ran for a little bit, then FLEW off the back of it. The funny thing is the drunk fool got back on the stupid thing!

Please don't try that if your diabetic.  Alcohol will lower your blood sugar and so will exercising.  If you take pills or shots this could lead to ER trip or worse.Cry
