R.I.P. Bettie Page

We hardly knew ye.

Is anyone else surprised and saddened by this? She's such an icon...like, Elvis or Marilyn Monroe.....I swear I thought she was already gone and immortalized...

But she was just a sweet old lady who died of a heart attack (well, a week after one).

Anyone else surprised?

Not surprised by her passing (RIP), but still ticked she wasn't in The Rocketeer.

I had heard that she suffered a heart attack and fell into a coma earlier this week, and her age didn't make pulling through seem likely. So I was saddened but I can't say surprised.

Bettie was a true beauty. I thought she was amazing and she will always hold a great legacy.

 "Always"?  You were born long after her prime! :D

Lmao! Well as I said she held a legacy. Therefore was a *legend* and when you're a legend your highest times are shown to the world for years even ones *born way long after.*

Elvis is a prime example. ;)

Surprised?  no...  I mean she was in her mid 80's.  Saddened DEFFINITLY!

She was a GORGEOUS woman who was an icon!  I'm sure her legacy will go on for many many many years (as it already has)

It's certainly sad, but she did live a long life. That's always a plus.

Definitely an icon, never thought she was very pretty though.
