I noticed a few posts that relate to the concerns regarding an ideal BMI and weight as not being seemingly accurate.
Most calculations tell me that my ideal weight is 120 lbs which is way too low as far as I'm concerned. My goal is 135 and maybe 130 depending how I look at 135.
I heard about this from both my best friend and my dad over the past week, so I thought I'd do some research.
Regarding the differences between BMI's in race as it relates to factors like bone structure:

yeah, i've come across something similar too. BMI cutoffs are lower, 23% i think, for asians. i'm asian. :(

hmmm, that is interesting. i've also noticed that some races gain more easily then others... (i think), or maybe its just a difference in lifestyle?

Whishful, I know that's definitely a bonus for me. I'm always noticed that I gain muscle quickly especially in my legs and arms. I wish I could lose fat just as quickly though!
