Rainy Day Activity

Find a local coffee shop to read a good book in?

I personally like being out in the rain. I'll take a walk to the library or even bike ride around town in the rain.

I like the rain too, but now that it's here, I'm reminded how much harder it is to do everyday outdoor activities. I just love being inside near a fire with a window to look out of, some coffee and a good book, but as for actual activities to do when it's rainy... Hm... For some reason I always have more motivation to go to the gym when it's rainy and cold outside - probably because the carrot on the stick is the hot tub after a hard workout :) Almost better than chocolate. Almost.

If it's a winter rainy day, I curl up in front of the fireplace - too cold for me.  A spring rainy day,  I might go for a ride, I have some light weight bike gear. 

Book & Coffee shop sound good to me.

I don't mind the rain so much but this year its been just too cold for me to be out and about. I have the full northface regalia on and I still can't seem to stop shivering.

Hibernation, sadly, has been my salvation this year. :(
