I can't believe it!

Today was around -10 C and winds of around 30 km/h and I RANRANRAN! FOR THE FIRST TIME! It was pretty  hard but I jogged intervals for 30 minutes (around 2.5 miles) and it feels fantastic!

Since it was freezing, I didn't even sweat!

For anyone who thinks they can't run, GO OUTSIDE AND JUST DO IT. Trust me, I was a stay at home-do the elliptical easily once a week type of person and loved every minute of my run! even though I felt really queasy near the end!

Awesome job apple_pie! I personally love running in the snow. I feel like I can go forever! But if its windy I have some trouble....but that's why God gave us Underarmour...

And don't worry, the queasiness will go away the more you keep at it.

oh i want to run so bad! but honestly....i'm really embarrassed to do it

Embarassed i would love to find some place i can run where no one could see me. i just don't want people to see my  fat rolls slamming up and down while i huff and puff and try not to quit....ugh!....if only i could find a secret track that no one else knows about Frown but ...

woohoo for you! i really do that it's awesome!Laughing

Good job! I wish I could do that! I JUST started attempting to run and I thought it would be a lot easier. I can easily do 30 minutes on the elliptical going all out so I thought maybe I could run ok now too....not so much! lol. I could barely run for 2 minutes straight! My sister told me it would be easier if I just went to a track but I turn so red when I run I don't want anyone seeing me so I've been running on my parents' treadmill. I'm gonna keep at it tho! I just need to get my endurance up!

Great job!!  Watch out, pushing your limits can become addictive!

That's great! I just finished my 20 min run and it was a little nippy to me. It just made me run harder so I could get home faster! For your first time, you did awesome. Keep at it:)

Good for you!  Isn't it great when you discover your body is getting stronger?  I don't run, because I've got bad knees, but I jogged on my mini-tramp recently, and I was amazed that I was able to do it!
