Random food questions . . .
What are grits exactly? Are they good for you, or no?
There are some veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, etc.) that I only like really mushy. Are they less nutritious when they're mushy?
Are sweet potatoes/yams considered a carb or a vegetable? What about plantains?
Thanks!

grits are a type of ground corn, that you heat with water and become mushy. i eat grits with a little bit of cheese(they are plain on their own) when i am hungry and i want some warm comfort food. the kind i have has 130 calories, .5g fat, no sodium, 2g of fiber, and some nutrients including iron and folic acid. they are very filling for the calories.
