Raw Meat Calories -Not in the Database
I like to weigh my ingredients before they go in the pot rather than fishing them out afterwards and putting the on the scales. There are plenty of listings in the database for raw vegetables and other uncooked foods. Seems to work OK in the recipe analyser. However, when I want to find 'raw/uncooked beef' I'm presented with an endless choice of broiled, braised, pan-fried, roasted... all kinds of cuts... but nothing uncooked.
Edited to say... it seems to be true for other meats as well.
I would really like to see them added too. It's a bit of a pain having to work out the raw calories from other sites then pull out a calculator to translate the raw weight into a cooked weight with the same calories. It may also contribute to some people severely overestimating their calories if they don't do that step and figure that cooked weight = raw weight.
If you choose the second option for serving size in any of the "Calories in Beef, Ground, xx% Lean Meat / xx% Fat, Crumbles" food choices, you can see the stats of the raw meat. The portion sizes are 1/2lbs, but if you multiply/divide based on how much raw meat you are using, you can figure it out. See below for example:

That works for ground beef (though it's still very fiddly if you want to use it in the Recipe tool because you have to play around with numbers until you get the right weight for the calories you want) but it doesn't work for any other meats. I've entered my own data for several different weights of raw chicken, but it would be nice to just have a raw chicken entry that would let us select any weight, for example.
It's strange that raw beef is not in the database since there are dishes based on raw beef or veal. Like carpaccio or the biftec tartar (dunno if I spelled those right).
