What will you do when you reach your goal?

What will you do when you reach your goal weight?

My plan:

1. Go shopping

2. Jump around giddily

3. Take pictures

4. Start eating more (more calories for maintenance)

5. Run into people I haven't seen in years

6. Just generally be carefree

How will you celebrate?

Put all the weight back on again, then try and lose it all once more, but in half the time!

Good question!

I guess put the jeans on that I have been wanting to wear....strut my butt in front of my husband-lol

Be happy I made it and it was worth my effort!

Shop

Get a manicure (pedicure too)

Keep on the healthy path I have created for my hubby and I

1.  Start referring to my arms as "guns"

2.  Spend every waking minute of June by the pool

3.  Help old ladies carry groceries - good karma

Cry.  Then try to lose 15 more lbs ;)

Just wanted to say that's a good question.   Are any of you using a reward as a motivation to lose weight or do you think that losing weight itself is enough of a reward?  I'm just trying to figure out how to be sure I stay on task and I'm wondering if setting a reward for myself would work--it feels like an indulgence!

Make a new Myspace that includes full body pictures instead of weird angled close-up ones that make me look 20 pounds lighter.

Wear a really short skirt.

Buy a bikini at PacSun.

Do something new with my hair.

I am only 2 kgs (or 4 pounds) away from my goal and what I would REALLY like to do, and have been dying to do ever since I started my health/fitness plan, is to go shopping! BUT I can't afford it :( So waaaa. I want some nice tight jeans - Im sick of all my pants being baggy on me and I'm tired of all my plain looking clothes. I want nice new feminine clothes that cling to all my best bits. I guess I will just have to buy little bits and pieces one at a time.

Other than that, keep up the healthy lifestyle and figure out how to maintain my weight, take some sexy pictures that I can contrast with my nasty before pics and hmm I don't really know what else - just enjoy being slimmer I guess. I want some way to properly reward myself but I can't think of a way that doesn't cost a lot of money.

I am only 8 days and 1lb away from my goal.  I wanted to lose 107 lbs before my 30th birthday and that is coming up Feb 20th.

So for my Birthday and for making my goal I am heading up to Steamboat for three days to party with 25 or so of my peeps.   We have four places and we are all going to snowboard for the weekend.  I have not drank any alcohol in 2009 so I will be drinking, smoking,  laughing, smiling and carrying on like I am 21 again.  I can't freaking wait!!  Seriously I can not even concentrate on anything I am so excited.  I am like my 6 year old before Christmas.

If I do not lose one lb over the next 8 days and fail to make my goal I am going to try and gain all the weight back by the end of Feb.  Now that would be fun!

It's amazing what you can afford when you are eating right.  I have saved 1000's of dollars in the past 13 months just by eating like a normal human.

Weight loss is the best personal financial solution for the global recession.

Good question!

- Cry like a baby for a while, scream, then cry some more LOL

- Tell EVERYONE =)

- Like you said, run into people I haven't seen in a lot of time and feel like I'm in heaven when they a) don't recognize me or b) go all "OMG how did you do it!?" hahaha

- Mantain my new lifestyle, doing exercise and eating properly

- Buy clothes that actually fit and look good

- Get a tan (hahahaha I just NEVER do that)

That's it, I think... probably the crying phase will be the longest LOL

frolic in a thong bikini

1) stop worrying about my bikini top betraying my modesty.

2) chinese food.

3) flirt to the point bordering on inappropriate

Wear the awesome bikini I got over Christmas and run down to the beach. Then, instead of wearing a T-shirt, just wear short-shorts for drinks at the bar. :D

ask me again in 3.8 pounds - WHOOHOO!

1. Lingerie time!

2. Go to Hawaii for a week.

3. Catch up with people I haven't seen in ages so I can hear them say, "Wow, you look great!"

24lbs to go.

buy a bikini. and wear it. :)

I'm going to New York with my friends and we're going to spend the day looking in all of the shops full of clothes we can never afford...then go to the cheap places (aka Kohls and Target) and have lots of fun Tongue out My friends have been so amazing and they are so happy for me! We're hoping to go late in the fall and I have 43 more to go!

When I reach 165 I'm going to ditch the scale and monitor my progress with a measuring tape.  I'm not so much 'dieting' as 'eating right', so hopefully not much will change.

Good Question

1. Pizza, I miss you.

2. Wear smaller T-shirt and smaller jeans.

3. Go to the beach, Samed Island, Thailand

4. Loose more 2-3 kilograms.

buy new clothes

feel extremely proud that I stuck with it and made it that far

Wear a 2 piece confidently

Stop weighing myself everyday

38 pounds to go (maybe...i might look sickly I haven't been down there for so long)

  • My fiance and I made a bet about a month ago. If he lost he offered to buy me a pair of designer jeans. I told him that if he did lose he'd have to wait to get them until I reached my goal size. Well, he did lose. So now he owes me a really nice pair of jeans. I'm waiting until I get 135, then we'll go pick them out.
  • I'll also unpack all of the clothes I packed away because they were too small.
  • Lay out for an entire weekend in my favorite bikini
  • Do a swim workout in my Brazilian training bikini that I bought for training trip in Hawaii junior year of college.
  • run in just a sports bra and shorts (something I've always wanted to be comfortable doing)
  • Treat myself to El Rodeo - chips, salsa, enchiladas and a giant margarita :)
  • Maintain for life
