I have officially reached a Plateau... I have gradually lost and kept off successfully about 20 lbs. My original goal was to lose around 30 pounds give or take and I really still want to take off those last 10 lbs. I stopped "dieting" for a while and just maintained my weight but I recently started to get back at it. However, I still haven't seen any results. What do I need to do? Lower my calorie intake even more?? ( any lower, and I'll be starving all day) I also do vigorous cardio for about 4-6 hours a week and some weight training.
I'm stuck :( ...any suggestions/tips???
Try a different workout regimen. That certainly worked for me. Maybe some HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). Sometimes your body gets so used to the same exercises that for whatever reason, they stop being as effective. I've also found that some of the best exercises for seeing quick results are calisthenics. Most of this stuff you can do around the house.
Don't give up, you've come so far! :) You'll get past that plateau!
