Read any good books lately?

Hey so I am in college and I have one final today and then one tomorrow and then I am DONE!  I am planning on going to the beach, traveling, doing lots of things this summer (including summer school, but that doesnt start for a couple of months).  I realized that I haven't read a book for pleasure in a looong time - and I love to read!  I just haven't had time.  So I have decided on going to the library with a list in hand of books to check out...anyone have any suggestions?  My favorite authors currently are David Sedaris, A.M. Homes, David Rakoff.  I am open to reading anything.  Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions!

ahh...Jodi Picoult....I've read My Sisters's Keeper and 19 Minutes, and both were quite good.

Recently I also read The Pilot's Wife and Midwives
Love this thread.  I'm totally tagging it and coming back to it over the summer.  Some of my girlfriends and I from work just decided to start a book club so these suggestions will be great!

Three books that I've read in the past month, all quick easy reads but very entertaining in their respective ways, are:

Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons by Lorna Landvik

The Birth House by Ami McKay

The Girls by Lori Lansens  (This was my fave!)
Faking It - by Jennifer Cruise

Cold Sassy Tree - by Olive Ann Burns

The Cheese Monkey-by Chip Kidd
ohhh, I have one more.
A Fine Balance  by Rohinton Mistry
Awesome, I can't put it down.  I'm halfway through and already thinking how sad I'll be when its over!
Anything by Nicholas Sparks.
I just read 13 Moons by Charles Frazier, the author of Cold Mountain, and it was great!  I'm also enjoying March, which is a modern novel by Geraldine Brooks that follows the father from Alcott's Little Women while he is off fighting--or, actually, acting as a chaplain--in the Civil War.  So far, it is interesting, particularly if you like history and Little Women.
The Sunday list of Dreams

Dan Brown's "Da Vinci Code" & "Angels & Demons"

Shopaholic Series

Jane Green's Jemima J, Mr. Maybe, The Devil Wears Prada

Nicholas Spark's anything

Jenna Jameson's bio/fiction "How to make love like pornstar" - it's actually pretty funny
Also, not exactly the highest reading level, but I love Twilight and its sequel. A fantasy/supernatural novel, but it's sooo good. By Stephanie Meyer, by the way- I definitely recommend it!
So, I know summer's almost over :(, but these are great books.

Understatement: Harry Potter 7

The Notebook by Sparks is so romantic

I love John Grisham & Mary Higgins Clark books too.

Had to read Brave New World and unexpectedly LOVED it!
Wally Lamb,  She's Come Undone is really good as well as his other books.
