Reading Recomendations.
I used to to love reading books as a child. I want to get back into that, but am totally out of touch with what's good and don't know where to start. I don't like romance or olden days novels. I love thrillers (I have a lot of Stephen King) and fantasy.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

"Olden days?" What's that mean?
Terry Pratchett is the best living fantasy author, hands down.
Terry Pratchett is awesome! Fantasy and humour wise!!
Else, I'd suggest Neil Gaiman, also very nice fantasy!
anything by chuck palahniuk.
Thankyou for all your responses. I will certainly check them out. When I say olden days I mean like Jane Austin books and books set in those times.
Harlan Coben is hands down my favorite. Tell No One is my personal favorite. He's the type of author that has you thinking youve figured it out, but then turn the page and your like dang! I was wrong! He has you guessing till the VERY end.
He has a bunch of books in his "Myron Bolitiar" series. I'm not AS crazy about those, but they are still good, but I would recomended reading his singular books first :)
Robin Cook!!!
If you like thriller / fantasy you should try Neil Gaiman's novels. I am not at all into fantasy or sci-fi but his novels absolutely suck me in and I can't put them down. Start with Coraline (might be in the juvenile section) and you will understand why he is touted as one of the best authors of his time.
I just picked up his collection of short stories today in Smoke and Mirrors.
