Ready to start my second year of dieting!
I just typed in a big summary of all my weightloss progress and then accidentally deleted it! ARGH!!!!!!! I'm not going to type all that in again right now. So I'll sum it up in brief. I have been dieting and exercising for one whole year. When I started I was size 3x/24, I weighed 265 pounds, and my stomach was 5 inches larger than my bust giving me that delightful 'ten months pregnant' look. I hadn't walked further than the laundry downstairs in three years because I had gotten so incredibly LAZY.
I decided to change all that... and step by step I did. Today I weigh 197.6 pounds, size XL/16. My bust and my stomach are now the same size because they BOTH shrank. I lost ten inches off my bust and waist, 12 inches off my stomach, an amazing-to-me 14 inches off my hips, and three inches off my arms and legs. I started with three chins, and now I have one. I'm not going to be running any marathons any time soon, but I can walk five miles without blinking.
So where would I like to be in another year? I don't need or want to lose as much weight as I already have. I would like to lose another 20 pounds, and I would really like to be a size 12, just because I never have in my entire adult life. I was wearing size 12 women's clothes when I was 12 years old! And I would like to keep up my exercise and stay healthy. And that would make me more than happy...
Im pretty much in the same situation as you. I started losing weight last January so I am approaching my one year mark soon. I honestly cant believe how far I have come. I did 'fall off the wagon" over the summer, but at the end of the year, I am still losing weight. I have lost 52 lbs since Jan and have another 30 lbs. So good luck with your second year and approaching your goal weight.
congrats on the amazing progress!!
