'Real' Baked Beans
Remember, remember the 5th of November... etc. So tonight's our bonfire and firework party and, for the occasion, I'm making a hot buffet of barbecue-style chicken, 'Cymberland' (yes it's spelt wrong but CC's idiot puritanical software won't allow me to write it down properly because of the first three bloody letters.... and yet lets me say 'bloody' quite happily) Sausages, jacket spuds and green salads plus this lovely slow-cooked 'Boston Baked Beans' of Delia Smith's. There may be gluwein!
The molasses give it a really more-ish not-too-sweet flavour and the belly pork has that lovely melting texture. I was very pleased to see it shaped up well on the CC analysis... low fat, high fibre, iron, maganese, B vitamins.... wow.

Ahh working now and sounds delicious :-)
