The REAL Winner in the American Election?

Quote  |  Reply

As an interested outsider, it's become increasingly clear to me who's coming out ahead in this election campaign.  In the aftermath of the latest faux pas ("A typographical error on a New York county absentee ballot gives voters there the option of electing "Barack Osama" as president in the upcoming U.S. election, instead of Barack Obama."), I feel that I can, with absolute confidence and no fear of reprisal, announce the real winner of the American Election.

Congratulations.

Call me naive but the people who would be scared by that typo probably arent planning on voting for Obama in the first place.

Okay, you are naive.

Plus, you didn't/couldn't be bothered to click on the link.

I did click on the link. Specifically which of the videos do you want us to watch?

SNL wins?

Michael Phelps?

Sorry.  It's that elusive Canadian sense of humour.

What I was implying was that the producers of Saturday Night Live are the real winners of this campaign, because the candidates and the circumstances surrounding them are conducive to the sort of lampooning that the Saturday Night Live television program built it's reputation/ratings  on in the late 1970's and early 1980's.

I apologize for being vague/Canadian.

Ahh. Sorry, Im slow. Thanks for clarifying ;)

I got it right off!  Hilarious, and true! SNL is really raking in the ratings right now.

BTW, I'm not even Canadian...LoL
