So I just realized I get paid to have sex

I start work at 6am every day by waking my boss up (as he's apparently incapable of doing this on his own). Now, we're both attracted to each other but can't actually date because of the inevitable opposition all the other folks at work would have to this (did I mention he's the CEO?). So about once a week we end up having sex after I wake him up, and it just occurred to me that since I'm on the clock starting when I get to his place I'm technically being paid to sleep with him.

So... while this pretty clearly makes the both of us just a touch unethical, I don't feel like I'm a prostitute because I'm enjoying it just as much as him and there's certainly no requirement (spoken or implied) that I do this.

Any thoughts? Should I just take my act to the streetcorner? I figured an anonymous internet forum was the way to go due to the nature of this topic.

And I think that's what about half of us were trying to say, but we just weren't bright enough to phrase it in one sentence. I bet alibuch never had marks taken off her essays for BSing.

Well it seems many people here do give a crap and are taking this all rather seriously. I guess I should have just stuck with my story and kept things entertaining. Sorry for ruining the fun

I think it's more that your life must be pretty sad/pathetic if you have to make up lies on the internet.

I guess we both agree on that last bit, but for different reasons. I don't see anything wrong with the post. It's about the whole situation, like lippy said (though I don't have a problem with the way it was presented). I just pictured myself in her situation, and that was what made me sick - just thinking of what it would do to her in the long run (self esteem, etc). I would feel like crap in her shoes, and if I were to post something like this, I would certainly not be bragging. I guess everyone has their own personal values and views of themselves.

City Lovers... the first thing that came to mind last night as I read this but I couldn't remember the name...certainly not the same scenario, but this post has the same effect on me as that story.

I personally don't care about what she does in her personal life. I just think it's silly to walk on to a random forum and boast about it. Or in her case, pretend to have a shocking realization, but talk about how awesome the sex is and how much you love it.

Though your guess at my reason wasn't quite right (I don't really mind if I don't get patted on the back, as evidenced by my ill-advised posts here). Maybe I just had a moment of paranoia that someone from work would be on this site and they'd figure things out, but at this point, eh, that's not really very likely.

So everyone can continue beating me over the head for my foolish choices, or for my trollish behavior. Whichever you prefer ;)
