i am now just about getting over the cold and chest virus infection this weekend.
the antibiotics are now starting to work but having felt so rough and other problems i have hardly had the energy to exercise - have eaten my upper limit and the scale has gone up a bit - PLUS on top of that its totm next week and i am going away on holiday for a week.
what is the best theing for me to do?
i know during totm weight fluctulates a bit so am prepared for that - but what is concerning me is what is happening now.
its not gone up a lot - but i have been sucking hard candy ( or hard boiled sweet as they are called here in the uk) - have allowed for those - also been picky and not eating properly - have not felt like it and the calories have added up!!!!
some advice needed before i put on all that i have lost.
shall i wait and go back big time once this infection has cleared? will aim to be careful on holiday anyway - had planned to do that before this virus took hold

...who cares? For real you are gonna take a week or 2 break? Just watch what you eat, gaining back 2 pounds wont kill you or make yours clothes suddenly not fit. Instead of worrying so much just stop worrying, you have (id imagine) quite a lot of time left in life... no need to worry about the small stuff right?
my advice is to just take it easy for a bit. even on the dieting eat healthy but make sure your body has the fuel it needs to recover. and as soon as u can start building back slowly. dont feel guilty for this because this is somthing u could not control. i say come back with a vengence but work your way up to it k? no reason to get hurt over.

I agree, you have to take are of yourself while you are healing. I also tend to worry too much, but it never does any good. So all the best getting better and having a great holiday that doesn't revolve aroung food. Ri
Concentrate on getting back to the healthy eating with out going overboard. Having just got over a cold you could use the healthy foods to help your body recover. Don't beat yourself up though
