I've been trying to maintain or eat normally for a few months now, even though i feel like i never have the right balance.

When i had my ed i was always switching between under and over, never finding the balance. I've been trying for a while now but my mum is driving me crazy. At first she was insisting i stop counting calories and find a medium on my own and then whenever i eat like a biscuit or whatever she's like "Are you sure you should be having that?" I feel like screaming.

Anyway, she must be right because I've gained (I weigh myself everyday so i thought i had it under control but this weekend was my sisters birthday and i ate too much)

Does anyone have any quick ways that i can lose the weight I've gained?? Please.

You didn't really gain weight unless the scale consistently registers the gain for several days in a row.

What you ate this weekend probably didn't cause you to gain. Instead you're seeing water weight, which will probably flush itself out in a few days.

You need to eat 3500 calories more than you burn to gain 1lb. Something tells me you didn't eat that much in one day.

He's right. I actually ate quite a bit on Friday night and the scale said I gained 1/2 a pound on sat. morning but by this morning I had actually lost 1.5 lbs. Give it a couple days before you start to freak out.  If you want, cut the carbs for a day or two and I'm sure you'll see that weight fall right back off.
