Recipe entry question

Quote  |  Reply

Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong when enterring my own recipes?

I enter all necessary information.  When it comes to adding to my food log, I am not given the opportunity to choose the amount.  Example, I have a chocolate chip cookie recipe, which was for a batch of 50 cookies.  The recipe gives me the nutritional count for 1 cookie.  It does not allow me to choose 2 cookies, so I must add to my food log twice.  Hope this makes sense.

How to I invoke the option to choose quantity when I create my recipes?

You'd have to reinput the recipe and change the serving size to equal 2 cookies.  Otherwise add it twice.

Alternatively, you could hit the radio button for the 100 gram breakdown (right below the serving entry.  Then, go back up and add the number of grams you actually ate (either through weighing them, or just doubling the grams of 1 cookie).  It will then change the calories, etc. and you can add it.
