Can you recommend a good pair of headphones?

Quote  |  Reply
I just got my first MP3 player the other day but the headphones that came with it are junk.  I'm in need of a good pair that won't fall out when I run either because they are sweaty and slippery or the jarring motion pops them out.  Any suggestions?

Shure makes good headphones... Expensive ($100+)... But good...

I just got a cheap pair and they work just fine... They're round speakers with a little plastic piece that goes behind the ear... So the plastic piece kind of locks into place to keep your ear snuggly between the plastic and the speaker...

Works for me... And I think I paid around $7... lol
i think it depends on your ear

i cant do the Ipod headphones cause 1) they make my ears hurt and 2) they dont fit at all and never stay in

so i opt for around the ear seperate earphones that you dont just shove in your ear, they sit on top of the ear...

They do have the "shove" ones that have like rubbery stuff around the earbud that forms to your ear...maybe try those?
Hey!  I have a huge issue with earphones...most of the time they don't stay in my ears at all and it annoys me when I am working out.  So I bought a pair that are on a "headband" I guess you would call it.  I purchased them at Target for $9.99.  I love them!  I can't find them online or I would put a link here, sorry.  They are a known name too like philips or sony.  But they are the best!
the earphones that come with ipods are SOOO bad. i don't see how anyone could run with them... i digress.

look up a pair of panasonic ear bud headphones online: like these. they're not too expensive, the sound is decent, and they won't fall out with movement. they fit pretty well too, i think, and this is from someone whose headphones never seem to fit. -_-
I was just looking at ear phones for running!  These are what were recommended to me.   Good sound, only 1 cord  from the set (not a cord from each ear) and not too bad price.  Specifically made to resist sweat and stay on your head.

My husband likes the ipod earphone covers and keeps losing them.  I hate em and I don't have any problems with my ipod headphones staying in. Yesterday I tried using my XM radiotogo earphones but those I didn't like so I will stick with my ipod ones.  I used to use just the regular old fashioned headphones and they worked very well too.
sennheiser makes awesome headphones.
Look for the ones that go IN the ear, not just rest on the outside.  Less slippage.
i've used these Phillips ones for a while that i found in Target.

I've always had problems with workout headphones...trying the behind the ear, in the ear plugs, and even used my huge Sony noise cancelling ones that were SO hot..but i just wanted a pair that wouldn't fall out!

These are the best ones i've found, by far
I have the same Phillips headphones and they work just fine.

Don't knock the IPod head phones, they are good when used just hanging out (but indeed useless for any sporting activity).
