Well if you were asked to recommend what you feel is the best song ever what would it be?

I personally just want to find new (good) music because thats all I ever do on the internet.

 APC is also truly amazing.

both bands have a time and place depending on my mood.

APC is lighter and generally less angry.

Maynard James Keenan is my future husband though. lol.

Only one? Yell... "Cassie" by Flyleaf is in my top 10 favorites... it is a very catchy song and has very strong, meaningful lyrics.

Yeah I'm more of a Tool fan. I kind of forgot about APC though. Wonder if they came out with anything new . . .

Part of the reason I like them better...I tend to favor "less angry" music :)

If you mean one song while you are working out mine would probably be paralyzer by finger 11. Second choice Getting Jiggy with it by Will Smith. Third. Fighter by Cristina Agulara.

Different picks if I am relaxing. I love Mozart then. Mozart if good when lifting but not for me when I need to get pumped up for cardio Wink

 I love finger eleven!!! :)

Crush by Dave Matthews Band is a favorite but every other song on the following albums are wonderful: Recently, Under the Table and Dreaming, Crash, and Before These Crowded Streets (my fav!)  They're my fav band!  yay! I go to one or two of their shows a year!  In fact I was just at my 13th Monday...good times! I also have a symbol of theirs tattooed on my back.

Also, pretty much every song by Blue October.  You would know them by their songs: Calling You, Hate Me, and/or Into the Ocean....all of which aren't the best songs of theirs by a long shot.  HRSA is a favorite of mine, but its hard to pick.  Although, I've found I have less enthusiasm for them as my mental health improves.  I've also seen them live 27 times and didn't tire of it until they got too popular and all the teeny boppers came out!

concerts are too blasted expensive once the band gets popular Yell

I 2nd, 3rd, and 4th this message... I've only been to 9 live Dave concerts but they are AMAZING.  And, I live near-ish the birthplace of the band =D.

Yeah that's understandable.  I don't favor either.  lol.  If I'm angry or just hyper and need faster music I go for Tool.  If I'm laid back just chilling or if I'm sad or down I tend to turn to APC for comfort.

Both are amazing.

Yupp.  Faves for sure.

"Cowboys from Hell" by Pantera.

Yay! another dave fan :)

The show Monday (in ATL) they played Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel...it was INSANE.....this show was one of the best in YEARS! his voice was like it was 10 years ago....it was great!  very exciting...

However, I do think that this year was the last one for those expensive tickets on the floor and we'll just do lawn from now on....I have until next March to decide when the summer 09 dates come out :)

Didja see my avatar?  Clearly I love Pantera.  :D

I do adore Tool and APC, as well.  Tool is by far the best live act I've ever seen.

They soundchecked Sledgehammer at Darien and I was furious that they didn't play it; my friend got to hear it at Hershey (I believe it was Hershey, may have been Nissan), and I was quite jealous =D.  I got to hear the tour debut of The Stone, and both Money songs, so I was psyched.
