Hi Emily, i'm 20 and i'm well on my way to recovering from anorexia. It started gradually 2 years ago when I just wanted to "tone up" a little. Then I started excluding food groups and it just lost control from there.

I've so far put on about 8kg which I couldn't have done without these foods: cereal

dried fruit

milk, yogurt, cheese

and all the food which I thought I was allergic to but I actually wasn't.

The main thing to do is to start eating more healthy fat like olive oil etc you'll see what an improvement it makes to your skin and hair, trust me.

I am to start an out paitent programme soon even though I'm nearly at a healthy weight, just in case I slip up again. I found it difficult to talk to professionals about my ed because they didn't have much info about it so talking to the professionals will hopefully get my answers straight!

I hope this helps! good luck!
