Recumbent Bike calories?

Quote  |  Reply

Hey there, I know that the calories burned on the recumbent bicycle is off by a lot and I'm having trouble finding the amount of calories I burn on that bike with my statures. Mind helping me out a bit?
5'1, 125 lbs. Duration: 1 hour

also I would like to know maybe some of the benefits of using a recumbent bike in the long term effects. I am currently trying to fit into my jeans again and get rid of the stubborn belly fat, along with recumbent biking I also do other exercises.

Please and thanks. :D

this website tells you some of the benefits of a recumbent bike.

Exercise to Get Fit and Build Muscles

Recumbent bike workouts are good for resistance training, muscle building and fitness. They help to develop several muscles in the lower body.

Recumbent Bikes: Muscle Development

Recumbent bike workouts are useful for bodybuilding and muscle-building, as they strengthen and develop the bottom, hip and leg muscles. Specifically, the gluteal muscles in the bottom (the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius and glutus minimus); the hip flexor muscles; the hamstrings and quads: and the inner thigh muscles (the adductor longus, magnus, satorius and gracillis).

Recumbent Bikes: Fitness Benefits

Recumbent bike fitness programs help to build lean tissue, burn body fat and develop a flat stomach by working the lower abs. They also help to raise resting metabolism.
