Veal leg steak is really lean if you havent got any ethincal problems with it, you can get lean cuts of beef, look up on calorie count which cuts have smallest amount of fat
Kangaroo. Seriously.
but If you're not in australia, try deer. its similar. Very low fat, very tender, but you have to cook it differently
Will mince do? You can totally drain heaps of fat out if you know how to. if you're interested will post (ok not all but its turns regular into lean mince)

If you are in the states, buffalo is leaner than beef and becoming easier to find. If you go for beef, pick something with the word "round" in it, and that's a leaner cut. Round steak, eye of round, etc. Stay away from beef that has fat marbled through the meat. Chose cuts where the fat is in strips and chunks that are easy to trim off.
Ok kangaroo sausages... lean meat mashed in a tube or beef sausages - random bits of meat. I dont touch beef sausages!
I know it sounds "exotic" but its just as natural as us eating cows. The Aborignals ate them. they're a really good meat. Really!! :D
Ok with the mince you just cook without oil and put in collander and rinse. Sounds dumb, but it works. And you dont miss the flavour esp if you cook with other sauces. My non dieting friends loved it. they said it was like mince but not greasy. And jsut qquick rinse and toss around collander, not a full "I'm washing my clothes" rinse. Or you can put it on a collander (micro safe) and microwave - the mince drips off!
its on hillbilly housewife - heaps of other ppl do it, Seriously! I'm not that crazy with meat (its the weird fruit combos I do that would be a little scary!)
Hillbilly housewife says you end up with less fat than lean mince, according to some study (quoted on the website) May post a link if you guys cant find it

Also you can get stir fry strips which are usually lean. our chinese butchers here cut meat for stir fry strips, and my dad uses those as roasts - very little fat and the same price!!
You have to get used to the taste of kangaroo sausages but once you do their great and super low cal(for a sausage)
well i live in the UK, but SA born. so maybe to some people our dishes like crocodile, ostrich etc are wierd to them!
but kangaroo's are cute!
but kangaroo's are cute!
So are lambies. And little cows.
And the huge ones are not cute as they trample down people :( Or fences. In some places they are a pest. Wallabies are cute. :D

What's Mince?
Hahahaha I know what mince looks like but I don?t know what it is!
Did you know that one burger patty can have meat from over 400 cows!

That would have to be a pretty BIG patty... LOL!
I would go with Buffalo, or Tenderloin is very low in fat and my favorite... spendy, though.

Mince = ground beef. Like in mexican recipeis and spagetti bolognaise
If you can find it, and don't have to pay a fortune for it, ostrich meat works. It's a lot leaner than beef (because it's a bird) but it's a very dark red meat with lots of flavor. My grandmother cooks with it sometimes because she can't eat much fat and swears it's just as good, if not better, than beef.
