Reduced Fat foods

okay so yesterday i went out and bought some reduced fat butter and cheese and ham etc...... anyway i use to not eat any of this before and i made up a plan so i would get in my 1200 calorie plan and om my lord i ate so much but it was for so little calorie that i actually couldnt even eat 1200 calories i got in the 1170 mark ......is this good for you .....eating alot of fat reduced food but still under your calorie mark .....should i be eating less????

becareful of alot of fat free food. some of them have alot of sugar in them.
what jzeller said is true, they have lots of sugar and lots of sodium too.  you also need fiber, so fruits and veggies are a must.
Exactly....just because it is low in fat doesn't mean it is low in calories....just for fun I looked at tomato soup.  There was 98% fat free tomato soup and I looked at the regular tomato soup and there were less calories!!!!  In order to make it taste better once t hey take out the fat, they have to add sugar.  The low fat cheese and other dairy products it definitely makes a difference when they are low fat.  You just have to look at the nutritional facts to see if it really helps or not.  It makes shopping take a little longer, but sometimes you'll be surprised.
