A Reminder to Bring My Lunch

...and actually eat it! Today, my lunch sits in the refrigerator, while I ordered out with the rest of the office (have the calories to do it for lunch and have a light dinner). $9.00...for a sandwich! Holy cow is that motivation to keep bringing my lunch or what? Amazing how expensive is everything is!

Yeah.. no kidding! Right now my lunch is sitting on my kitchen counter keeping an eye on the coffee I also left at home... ended up spending like 7 bucks on a not-even-satisfying-calorie bomb from Quizno's. I can feel my ankles swelling already from all the sodium :(

Write it down on a sticky note and tape it somewhere you know you'll look (at home- your bathroom mirror; at work- at your computer; in your purse- on your wallet).

I'm a repeat offender of this, too!  Its hard to eat my lunch at my desk, when I'd rather go out with my co-workers.  Even thought I know its worth saving the calories & money for after work fun, I still usually cave. 

It really is amazing how both the calories and the dollars add up when you order lunch out. I really have been pretty good about bringing something with me and passing on ordering out. You know what though? It was delicious! Worth the calories - not sure about the money!
