How do I remove a group?

I want to unsubscribe to a couple of groups that I am a member of, simply because nobody ever talks to each other. There are introductions, and nobody comments on them, and that's it! I know it can be done but I have no idea how and I can't seem to find a link.

I am in the same boat as you. I'll try to play around with it later to see if I can find it out and will let you know my results. :)

I figured it out!

Go to the main page of the group and click on "My settings" or "Edit Settings" (something like that). Once you do, it'll pop up with changing the email preferences or just leaving the group.

lol - unfortunately, you need to make sure that you shut off the email notification prior to removing yourself from the group or you'll continue to get emails from it and can't stop them without being a member. :(
