What you are describing is the normal shape of the female thigh. The small pouch of fat on the inner thigh is mobilized by one activity - breastfeeding. Our body is designed to have extra fat reserves that don't respond to normal fat loss, so that in famines, our milk can still provide the fat that our babies' brains need to develop. The lower belly "pooch" is another example of this.
And it is actually more common for healthy adult women's thighs to touch throughout their length (or nearly) when the knees are together, though the curving you describe remains when the legs are apart. Are you underweight by any chance?

I think she means ladies need body fat or else their offsprings will not have delicious mother's milk.
I am not under weight but my bmi is in the lower range of what is healthy. I do have an apple shaped body so more of what I eat goes to my belly rather than my thighs.
And about the pooch, I am pretty sure that it might not be because of breastfeeding as I am only 15 and certainly not pregnant. Haha
Though thanks for the help :)

Not only that, their fertility decreases. If you don't have a period, that means you're most likely not ovulating, which means you pretty much can't get pregnant. And, having very low body fat in your teens can affect your fertility in later life.

No, those parts of the body still stay a bit fatty even in normal and/or slender women, and there is a reason for it, and that reason is breastfeeding. They are also associated with normal female bodies (which have a significantly higher body fat % than normal male bodies) in the absence of any excess weight.

Just remember if you eat dairy you are still consuming someone's mother's milk :P

OH dear honey, ahahah, the breastfeeding thing is the way our bodies are DESIGNED.. you don't have to be pregnant. It's your body preparing for you to be pregnant because that's our body's sole purpose.

You don't get the fat when you are breastfeeding, your body stores the fat in advance, expecting that someday you will breastfeed and might need it. Breastfeeding actually mobilizes and uses up that fat (though a woman who is not malnourished will refill her stores "for the next baby"!)
and yall are being snitty to trust re: a scientific finding because why? the female body is a work of genius. own it.
any fat my body is designed to store to allow me to breastfeed in times of stress is just going to have to stay put! no more babies for me!
when i put my legs together, a little bit touches at the top of my thighs and my feet touch. the gap looks like a... a minaret with the dome being between my knees and not at the top. haha i dont have any strong feelings about it one way or the other.
