Ok, I joined recently and I wanted to use this area of the site for support and advice. Today I had a BAD day!
This morning started well.... I had a reduced fat Hotcross bun, with no butter, toasted. then I had some cake... just a smartie cake. Two of them made up to 140! So I figured, doing well today with lunch, came to 652 cals... good going!
Then, someone put homemade white chocolate and passion fruit cheesecake in the kitchen and I couldn't resist it! I had a sliver, and I mean I had a real thin slice, but I still have SO much guilt over it, cos that little slice was about 300 cals!!!
Not cool!
Does anyone have a tip for getting your willpower back... I wanted to be good today and now I am punishing myself!
Thanks,
Sarah
Don't punish yourself too bad. I would have been all over some cheesecake too. I have great well power but cheesecake is my kryptonite (sp). Maybe try telling yourself the wonderful, yummy cheesecake was worth it and go for a 30 minute walk to counteract the guilt. We are all allowed something yummy every once in awhile. Look at the bright too, you had a very small piece. Even if it was 300 cals, you could have went for a bigger piece and felt you needed to skip a meal. I comment you for going for the sliver. I wouldn't have, not by a long shot. I want the recipe too.
Have a great day!!
