How to resist the friendly "feeders"

Quote  |  Reply

Hi All!

I am constantly confronted by food.  When I meet someone and am invited over to a get together/ function full of nibbles and drink I just try to avoid it or go and squirm until I break my promise and eat out of being polite.  I have poly-cystic ovarian syndrome and have extreme fatigue after eating white carbs, wheat, and sweets and alcohol.  Oh, plus I'm trying to loose weight.   Nobody wants to go to a function with a food list.  I don't want to hurt anyones feelings or have people glare at me while grumbling under their breath as if I think I'm "precious".

Anyone else find themselves in this predicament?

Healthy,

Stay healthy, PCOS is not your fault and the first thing to do is think about you. When you go to visit people do not be afraid to just say No, thank you. After some time you should maybe tell a person you trust that will support you.

I would use CC to count calories and excercise some to control your weight. If you start loosing weight this will be a plus.

My Opinion, I did lookup PCOS to understand what it is.
