It's so unfair! Let me just say, I'm NOT going to do it. But that doesn't mean I'm not tempted. Who wouldn't want a magic bullet for loosing weight? But I want to do it the right way.
Pills that suppress the appetite are fine, until they run out.... Then what? If you learn in your own way how to control your appetite, how to enjoy certain foods in smaller amounts, other foods in bigger amounts & how to appreciate what you eat more rather than mindlessly eat, and how to be more active... then you'll be a healthy weight for life.
I'm slightly appalled that doctors will prescribe that kind of tablet to people who (it sounds like) can't be bothered to put in a little more effort.... just because they're trying to turn a fast buck. 'Quack' is too kind a word. Deserves to be struck off, frankly.
Agreed!
Yep, definitely agree with Gi-Jane. 30lbs. in a matter of weeks? What part of that is healthy, exactly?? Don't think so.
Do it the right way, and when your friend can's afford the pills any more and balloons back up, you'll be glad you did it the right way.

Figure out what type of eater you are and you might just find the answer to permanent weight loss.
