What are some of your dislikes that everyone seems to love?

Reason: Released as sticky

There are so many to pick from!

I agree with Cracker Barrel...awful food & uncomfortable seating.

Waffle House....just dirty & nasty!

And ALL BUFFETS!  It totally grosses me out to see people breathing over & picking through the food. I refuse to eat at any buffet.

lol Olive Garden is my favorite. and Cracker Barrel. and Chick-Fil-A. You're clearly all insane.

Not a fan of Wingers. Their sauce seems too spicy and not particularly good, and since it's on eeeverything...

With restaurants like Chili's and Applebees, all I generally get is chicken tenders. Chili's are very, very fatty and Applebees are nothing special.

I don't think there are any that I really "hate" though. There's a lot of hate in this room...

All buffets gross me out.  It reminds me so much of school cafeteria's and encourages people to overeat.

Chipotle-it's okay but people act like it's the greatest thing on earth

Never liked Applebee's, Red Lobster, Laundrys or Fridays that much.

Rain Forest Cafe-good atmosphere for kiddos but terribly overpriced for what you get

Cracker barrel and waffle house!! c'mon people!! lol :) Waffle house is so cheap and fast, it's the perfect road trip meal. and WHATABUGER!! I have fond memories of late night drunken taquito runs..tehe

I agree This is a good thread!

And for me, it McDonald's. Everybody I know loves their fries, but I gag just thinking about them.

And Panera Bread. Well not everybody like this place but my mom and sister are obssesed. I used to like it too, but now I think their stuff is just super salty and way over-caloried. Lol

It's not really a restaurant, but I really don't see what all the rage is about Pinkberry. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's good, but it's not great. I can think of many other frozen yogurt shops that are much better than Pinkberry. Besides, Pinkberry only has like, three flavors. All of which are delicious, but still. Three? That's really not a lot to choose from. There are some shops that give you the wide choices of 40+ flavors, and are just as, if not more delicious than Pinkberry.

Chilis. I absolutely hate the place. I'm really not a big fan of chain restaurants, but unfortunately I live in a college town where local joints don't really thrive.

I don't really consider any chain a restaurant. I don't know, there's just something about the crappy "food", combined with the standardization process, and the general lack of care that put all of these places in a whole different category for me. The way I see it, with all of these places you're pretty much getting what you see and in a lot of circumstances pay for.

I like to think there's someone working in the kitchen who put some love into their dishes, and that the dish I am eating is something that is uniquely mine. Then again, I think these places are getting harder and harder to come by.

But for the record, the Olive Garden is pathetic.

Everywhere. ..but that's just because I'm anti-social I guess. I hate ordering & I hate eating in front of people. I'd rather make something at home. x3 BUT two places you will NOT see me ordering from are Cici's Pizza and Papa John's. I love pizza but these two places just can't seem to do it justice. ...especially Papa John's! Disgusting.

..and really any steakhouse/seafood restaurant. The smell of seafood alone is enough to make me gag so forget eating it. :/ My family is a big fan of Red Lobster, Longhorn and Outback. I can't stand any of them. I hate steak...the taste and the way it looks really turns me off.

God I hate Chilis.  Not the food, which is meh, but I've grown to hate it from going so much.  Why do they use the SAME SPICE on everything!?  I guess if you like the spice it's probably good.  I have the exact same issue as you do, college town and when you go with a group of friends, Chili's is the only place no one gets offended by because it's so MEH.

I recently crossed Red Lobster off of my hate list, because they have snow crab legs at an OK price.  All the seafood that they actually have a hand in making is awful though.  Their shrimp are tiny.  Everything is drowned in cheese to hide how bland it is.  I'm from the MD coast though, so I'm spoiled.

Chilis, TGIFriday, Applebees!!! ew!

Any fast food and any of those restaurants that resemble "Shenanigans" in that movie "Waiting". You know which ones. They're all exactly the same.

Really the only places my hubby and I go to are Applebees and Chili's but now I'm here trying to lose weight again, we won't be doing that so often.

At Applebees, I switched from having steak, baked potato etc. etc. to the garlic herb chicken with potatoes and broccoli.  It's really quite good and only 340 cals.

When I first went on Nutrisystem a few years ago and started learning about what I *should* be eating, I used to watch ads for various restaurants and think "OMG, how can they sell that? That's just cholesterol on a plate"

The number one grossest (spelled it wrong in orginaly)   restaurant of all time has to be....

Mc Donald's. Absolutely disgusting. Will never eat a hamburger from them again.

Also disgusting restaurants:

Olive Garden, Red Lobster (don't eat shellfish), and Burger King.

Wendy's is becoming nasty as well.

For me, it's any big chain with cheesy contrived fake decoration themes and the same gross nonseasonal food that tries to make up for lack of quality and flavor by smothering everything in salt and fat and sugar.

I especially dislike Applebees.

Burger King and Olive Garden.

Any chain Italian.  Pizza Hut- every Pizza Hut is totally disgusting.  Buffet places- Golden Corral, etc. GROSS!

McDonald's, Taco Hell Bell and Papa Johns. GAG!

Subway, as soon as the smell of the bread hits me, I'm nauseated.

KFC(I used to work there) Dry food from the heat lamps. Coleslaw is mixed by hand by a person wearing elbow-length plastic gloves. Red gnats everywhere

Taco Bell

Casa de Pico

On the Border

Any place where the food is blatantly less than fresh.

The fries at In n Out

Buffets

If I'm going to indulge it better be good!

Most of them, actually. If I had to name one, it'd be In-N-Out (mostly located in California, Arizona, and Nevada). Our particular locations mean long lines, overcooked fries, and constantly wrong orders. Also, it may be good to binge on every so often, but when you eat it too much... you never, ever wanna eat it again.
