Hi everyone!

I am feeling blue! I've been on this diet for 4 weeks and instead of losing I am gaining. I have gained 5 lbs.

THESE ARE MY STATS!

28 YEARS OLD, 168 LBS, 5'7"

I work out 5 times a week, I do 60 min of cardio and 45 mintues of weight training lundges and situps on the big ball.

I've hired personal trainers in the past and had wonderful results. Last year I went from 168lbs to 150lbs, size 11 to almost a 5/6, in 3 months.

I thought a knew the drill!

According to this site my calorie intake should be 2600 that seems tooooo high!

Please help!

How many calories are you eating? A friend of mine weighed about as much as you, shes 5'7 also, and she ate 1600-1800. Have you tried calculating your BMR and going off of that?

Yes it's 2200 and the burn meter is 2700. I went through my settings and I had something wrong. I corrected it to what is 2200. I didn't follow that first calorie intake assuming it was wrong. In the past I've been put on a 1800 or 1200 calorie intake.  I've followed everything like before and even better and no weight loss yet.

I am feeling blue! I am going on vacation this month, the 29th to be exact.  I will be seeing people I've haven't seen in 12 years. I feel out of shape!

I started dieting in addition to my vigorous gym routine 4 weeks ago, also. What I found is that at first I really didn't lose much weight. 2.2 lbs. to be exact, but my clothes were fitting a little loser and my measurements had changed. Also, I have a body fat testing scale my husband uses for his wrestling team, and although I had hardly lost any weight, my body fat percentage had dropped almost 8% in those 4 weeks. Which shows that I was building muscle and burning fat. So pounds shouldn't be your measure for success. I was frusterated and telling my girlfriend that I had hardly lost any weight. Then when I got back in town two days later...all of a sudden I just dropped 4 lbs. I hadn't done anything different. Our bodies all work differently and as I am finding, quite mysteriously. Good Luck and don't give up. Its worth feeling good knowing you tried every day!
