RESULTS-30 Day Shred.

Here are my much awaited results.  I actually completed the 30 Day Shred.  I did each level for 10 Days.

 

Inches lost 4.5

Current inches-

waist 31 down from 32.

bust 38 down from 39.5

hips 37 down from 38

rt. thigh 22.5 down from 23

left thigh 22 down from 22.5

Pounds lost 7  went from 155.5 to 148.5 ( I am 5'4.5")

Body fat lost 2%

My clothes are definately looser and I am wearing jeans that I haven't worn in quite a while.  I have tons of energy, feel much stronger, my endurance and strength have improved.  I am feeling muscles in areas that I didn't think I had muscles.  Overall, this was a good experience for me.  I will definately keep up with strength training as I know this will make the most difference in  a body fat percentage decrease.

Extra information-I also take pilates once a week and have been run/walking for about an hour 3-4 times a week.  Before starting the TDS, I was relatively active with running however had not really engaged in a lot of strength training.  I am also logging calories daily and trying to get a 500 calorie a day deficit.  I cannot always do this as my burn meter says that I should only be eating 1650 calories a day which is already really low.  So, my deficit is usually attained by exercising not cutting more calories.

 

Did I forget anything?  Please ask me anything.  I want to help anyone that needs it.

WOW!! Way to go good for you for sticking with the program for 30 days.I am amazed at your results I'm happy for you keep up the good work!

do you intend on starting over the 30 days,doing it a second time?

I don't really know.  I know I need to keep up with weight training.  I may do it occassionally.  It is still very challenging.  I ordered the New Rules of Weightlifting for Women and so I was going to try that out.  I still will keep up with running as that has pretty much been my activity of choice for the last 25 years.

I am working on the 180 day shred right now.

surinataylor: 30 day shred is a workout DVD by Jillian Michaels from Biggest loser. It has 3 workouts of increasing difficulty and each workout is a circuit: 3x 3min strength, 2min cardio, 1min abs plus warm up and cool down, totalling 20min of workout. It's pretty good as you can see and you just need some handweights and a mat. If you need a home workout you should definitely try this one.

I sort of have a mat and dumbells, so I'm going to go out and buy it.

30 day shred is a workout dvd by Jillian Micheals, you can find it on ebay, l bought mine at walmart for $9. l am still doing level 1.
