Rhode Island Pizza Strips

Quote  |  Reply

I don't know if other places have them but they are square pieces of pizza that are cold and it is just the crust and thick tomato sauce with no cheese. I was trying to find some nutritional information on them if anyone can help. I had a few at a party for lunch with a rather large piece of cake and I am just wondering how many calories I can spare at dinner and perhaps a late night snack. If anone can help that would be wonderful.

I guess it can sometimes be called Bakery Pizza or sheet pizza and I know that  Superior Bakery makes it.  I can't find any other information.  mehTongue out

I know if you go to Stop and Shop or Dave's market they have the pizza strips there that have the nutrition info on them...

Hey I'm from RI and I've had those aswell. They're so yummy. I also searched google hi and low for information and can't find it either. Frown I would also like to know.

I also learned that we have the most dunkin donuts per state than any other state considering our size. lol

Oh the memories you have brought back!! And the spinach pies, loved them!! I grew up in RI, haven't lived there in about 10 years.

We call that foccacia on the West Coast!!  Anyway, sounds like it.  Is the crust kind of thick and doughy?

Well we have foccacia too, but that doesn't have sauce on it.  That is just bread with olive oil and herbs.  I must admit those are good too.  I looked at Stop and Shop today and their strips have 160 calories for a long strip probably about 2"X6".  Not bad.
