Rice Cakes

First off I have to say I love rice cakes, they satisfy my crunch cravings always. What do you put on your rice cakes, anything special? Usually I make a pizza from a rice cake using a Kraft mozzarella single and tomato sauce, or I do a sweet version with yogurt and berries on top. But, of course I bought the wrong kind(unsalted...how boring) so does anyone have any ideas of what I can do?

peanut butter is really yummy, I put it on my apple cinnamon rice cakes almost every time. I also heard putting some caramel and apples on top are really yummy too.

I love peanut butter and honey on my rice cakes. Or tahini and honey ( I believe tahini is like peanut butter but made from sesame seeds instead of peanuts. It's really good.

Fruit spread is good.  I especially like the Whole Foods brand of blackberry fruit spread.  It's nice with just a little dab of low fat cream cheese spread on the rice cake, then a teaspoon of fruit spread.

Hi.  I have sprayed the plain rice cake with stray butter and sprinkled it with seasoned salt or garlic salt and toasted it in my toaster oven to make it kripsy.  I sometimes topped them with light sour cream...yum.

i don't buy the unsalted ones either.  but you can 1) make a sandwich w/it, w/fat free mayo or salad dressing or bbq sauce or salsa and turkey or ham or eggs and/or cheese.  or tuna/egg/chicken salad 2)  break up the rice cakes and mix them w/your morning cereal or oatmeal  3)  mix them up w/guacamole to give some crunch to the recipe.  4)  spray them w/butter spray and sprinkle w/herbs+spices and break them up over your salad (like croutons).  good luck!
