I actually love rice cakes, especially with peanut butter and a little honey. Yum! The problem is when you are just eating them dry...

Actually, I was eating a Quaker Peanut Butter Choc chip one when I posted that... They are not bad, Wouldn't call them yummy though.... but better than nothing... they have helped me thru many a cookie craving..... never thought to try them with honey ... MMmmm... that might actually BE yummy

HI!! I do think rice cakes are yummy, but only certain ones... I certainly don't know about the plain ones, they would prolly be a little hard to swallow, but I get the caramel corn and the caramel apple, I personally think those are yummy. Anywayz, I'm sorta new to CC, Started on 1/19/09 in hopes of losing about 56 lbs, I've already lost 4, so 52 to go!! Yey me! Smile

Welcome to Calorie Count and to the Weight Loss forum!! Have you checked out the Weight Loss Forum Reources thread at the top of this forum? Also have you seen the great thread The Unofficial Guide to Calorie Count? Good luck and let us know if there is anything we can help you with!

p.s. - I love rice cakes, though now I am a much bigger fan of Wasa Light and Crisp bread. Only 20 cals per slice and so yum to top with all my favorite toppings!

I love Rice Cakes too! On their own some can be a bit cardboard-like but put a nice topping on them and its a great snack!

-And I love dipping them in a nice chunky veg soup!

I LOVE rice cakes, but I usually get the minis in flavors like salt and vinegar or dill pickle :D

Dill Pickle??????? OMG...

anyone wanna share some of your favorite topping ideas? I'd love to try some out...
