Has anyone tried these? I was on the web site and it sounded like something I would like to add to my daily intake. It is suppose to curb your appetite and be healthy for you. I am great at workouts and exercise, but my appetite is Out of Control. Please let me know if this has helped you or if it is another fad. Thanks

It's another meal replacement that' s meant to be an appetite suppressant.  The nutrition information isn't encouraging.  A 110g serving of their ready-to-drink 'skinni vanilli' contains 17g sugar, for example.  Which makes it a high-sugar food.  I really don't like these kinds of products.  Expensive and not really helping you retrain your eating habits.  If you have a big appetite, how about satisfying it in more natural ways?  These measures help a lot

1.  Bulky fibrous low-cal foods like vegetables.  Eat as many as you can.  They take a long time to break down and therefore curb your appetite.  Snack on fruit.

2.  Protein... Meat, fish, eggs, tofu, beans, nuts, seeds.... Protein is a natural appetite suppressant so if you get a serving of any of the above at each meal it becomes more satisfying

3.  Wholegrains.... The fibre and protein in wholegrains also acts as an appetite suppressant.  If you eat white bread and swap to wholemeal you can be suprised how much longer the sandwich lasts.

4.  Sugar, refined starch & alcohol... If you can cut these things out of your diet to the best of your ability you'll find your hunger-pangs are much easier to handle.

Finally... if you do work out a lot or do exercise regularly you will have a bigger appetite than a person that is more sedentary.  Make sure your food intake closely matches your output needs rather than thinking you have to starve to lose weight.

Thanks a bunch. I am transferring over from good to bad slowly but surely. I am going shopping tomorrow also and I will incorporate some of these ideas. I won't be picking up the smoothie though.

Try making your own smoothies. I have one every day. Love them.

I use 4 Large Strawberries, 1/4 Cup of blueberries, 3/4 Skim or 2% milk (depending on how many calories you need to cut), 6 Ice Cubes ( normal size out of an ice tray), and 4 Splenda's( that is the secret ingredient). Then blend till smooth and enjoy! This is so filling and Yummy.

I find If I am having it for Breakfast and need carbs I add half a Banana to the recipe and make it 1cup of the milk and 7 ice cubes and the other ingredients above stay the same.

Also I have done one with 10 ounces of Pineapple, 3/4 cup of 2% milk, 6 Ice Cunbes and 4 Splenda. This one is super sweet, so I only make that one when I have a real sweet tooth.

The healthiest one is Blueberry and Strawberrys.

I hope you enjoy them, I never have room for a meal after one of these. Another favorite filler for me is Ice Coffee.

I have lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks so it must be working.

Good Luck,

Wendy

Try to use fresh fruits and juice or yogurt

1 cup of any fruit you like, 1 cup of juice or plain yogurt, ice cubs, and blend. That will do for a full glass.

what I drink is protein shake for snack around 2 pm, I feel full for 3 hours or more. Is very low in carbs and sugar.... Good to build muscles

Thanks everyone. I will try the fruit smoothie. Where do you purchase the protein shakes?

I make my own, too. It's a very good practice to avoid any processed foods at all! They are full of all kinds of junk that the body doesn't recognize and will just store away in the fat.

I use a bunch of parsley--yep the whole bunch. Rinse it good under the faucet, shake off the excess water, cut off about 2 inches of the stems, or not. Put the entire bunch in the blender.

Pour in 1 to 2 cups of water (I use just one but I have a powerful blender). Add ice cubes if you have to have things cold.

Add whatever fruit you love. Fresh cut pineapple is perfect with parsley! Mango is mouthwatering. Bananas, 2 medium ones, are bountifully beneficial! LOL!

So it's basically just 3 ingredients. Quick and easy, and so very healthful. Parsley is a blood purifier. It makes my skin look terrific!
