Ring in the New Year 10lbs Lighter! Who's with me?
What a great way to stay on track throughout the holidays and start losing the weight before the new year rather than putting it off until it's time to make resolutions.
I'm looking to lose 10lbs by then. We'll have weigh-ins every Friday. I'll even throw in a little "fitness-friendly" goodie bag for everyone who completes the challenge and sticks to the weigh-in deadlines. Who's with me?

Last weeks weight: 105.5 lbs
Today's weight: 106.5 lbs
Up a pound in one week ... Not too happy about that. Hopefully I'll turn this around by next Friday so my "10 lbs before New Years" doesn't turn into 15!

I lost 1/2 a kilo this weiek, so that is just over one pound. That's good, but this week I will step things up a bit.

I had a horrible week this week. I felt like I was constantly cheating and I think I might have only done 2 workouts all week. My dad got hurt at work, and they didn't think he was going to make it. Luckily all turned out well for him.

GW- 154 Well, at least I lost, even though it wasn't much. I'll get back on track this week.
Is it too late to join? It seems like all the challenges are closed right now but this one seems like it might be still open. I started CC on Nov 17th so I could use that as my start weight. I really like challenges but I've had trouble finding any I can fit into or that are still open!

Darn! Needed to go cross-country for a family funeral. Spent four days eating the fabulous food that kind folks provided. End result: gained 1.8 lb.

Oh me, oh my. I know it's not Friday but I managed to gain all the way up to 110.5 this morning.
Now I have 15.5 lbs to lose before the New Year.
I'm pretty sure that's impossible. Time to adjust my goal? *sigh*
Perhaps I'll just settle on a goal of 100 by 01/01/2009.

Tomorrow is "weigh-in" day, so hopefully everyone is able to post their results. I know for me, even when I go up (which is quite often) it still makes me accountable and helps me stay focused.

GW for Jan 1st: 165 lbs, but I would even be happy at 168 lbs because that would put me at 60 lbs lost this year!

(let's just say that this week is my water weight week, so I retained a couple pounds of water) Hopefully in a couple of days I'll be back to where I was!
I met another goal today, to run a whole loop near my house (4.3 Km) Im so excited I thought Id post it!!! to think that when I started running in September I could bearly run 500m!
If anyone hear has been considering starting running but doesnt think they could, I recommend you give it a go! It takes a while but is well worth it

Still not back to SW, but did lose .6 lb. this week...even with Thanksgiving splurge. Not exactly dancing in the streets, but not too unhappy either.
I have been looking for a challenge that was short term.......I hope I am not too late on this one. Ten pounds by New Years? Sure I can do that!
I will weigh in tomorrow and go from there, I have this event in January that I want to look smokin' for and need to do it NOW!!!!
I do intervals on the treadmill and cycle on the trainer as well as roller skate once a week, it's winter here so the outdoor activities are getting fewer.
I am going to up the ante by saying since I began late I will give up Pepsi until January 23 (geez! did I just type that!!!!) since I began CC I have noticed that a large portion of my daily calories comes from Pepsi and if I replace that with plain old water I will be able to lose weight quicker.
So, here goes 31 days to New Years!

Cutting out the pepsi will help you heaps, and trust me after a while you do get used to not having it! :)
