What a great way to stay on track throughout the holidays and start losing the weight before the new year rather than putting it off until it's time to make resolutions.

 

I'm looking to lose 10lbs by then. We'll have weigh-ins every Friday. I'll even throw in a little "fitness-friendly" goodie bag for everyone who completes the challenge and sticks to the weigh-in deadlines. Who's with me?

Starting weight (10/15): 112 lbs

Last weeks weight: 110.5 lbs

Today's weight: 109.5 lbs

Luckily, I'm down 1 lb from last week but still up 4 from the beginning of this thread!

With only 4 weeks until New Years I may settle on 105 as a goal so that I don't aim for complete failure.

Perhaps I'll hit 95 by the Spring? *sigh*

Hello all, glad we made it through Thanksgiving!

I'd like to submit my Friday weigh-in early since I will be at a wedding and not sure if I'll be able to get to a computer.

Start:       177

Current:   172

Goal:      &nbs p; 167

Halfway there! I'm lucky to have a bit off to get into my bridesmaid dress. Good luck everyone on Friday. I'll post a weigh-in if I can manage it!

Great week! am down another 2 pounds and have bought my first pair of size smaller jeans!!! YAY

Will have to be carefull next week, Iv got my sisters graduation dinner and an all day Xmas party!

Weigh in for Nov 14th: 174 lbs

GW for Jan 1st: 165 lbs, but I would even be happy at 168 lbs because that would put me at 60 lbs lost this year!

 Nov 20th: 173 lbs

Nov 28th: 170 lbs << I had a great week!

Dec 5th: 169.5 lbs <<didnt do so well this week, but its still a loss.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I am late in posting, my computer crashed and I am now using my sons (he's given me linited access).  Anyways, I was really good this week, but when I jumped on the scale, there was no change. 

SW 78 kilos

Youll get there too, I started at almost the same weight as you, I started really slow and now suddenly the weights coming of easier

This week was so thrilled to be a size 12! YAY

Well, not as bad as it could have been with a wedding weekend and a trip to Bourbon Street :)

This week was certain to be a problem, with nights out and xmas parties ect... so I was actually quite relieved to see no change (phew!)

Anyone wanna share some foods/drinks that are your go-to's for dieting?

For me:

-yogurt for breakfast accompanied by chunks of pineapple

-low-sodium soups to go with lunch have helped me feel fuller

-baby carrots are a great munching food

-water water water!

Good work, much happier results.

I eat porridge for Breakfast, it keeps me full for hours! and as I dont put anything on it but trim milk (you get used to this) its got next to no calories.

I also eat alot of musli (untoasted) with banana, most days I have this for lunch! it to makes me full,

Like you heaps of water!!!!!! and I drink heaps of diet drinks (not so good I know!) I also cut out wine except for special occassions so only about once a week, this has helped I think.

and yep yogurt, I like something sweet for pudding each night so usually I have a low fat pot of Yougurt, would love to try the pinapple in it but sadly I cant eat pinapple :( what a misserable thing to be allergic to!
Another good week, down 2 pounds, yay.

Xmas next week so that will be a worry!

I ate wayyyyy to much on Tuesday, but I did well for the last three days, and Im still up a pound. So frustrating!

Well, I've done terribly!

I'm no where near the 95-100 that I was shooting for and instead gained myself back up to 110.5.

110.5! I can't believe that! That's nearly where I started back in October.

I know there's only a week left before the first, but I'm going to get back to eating right so I can start to lose this weight again.

*shakes head* 110.5 ...
