I was just wondering for those of you who have had your's tested, where you got it done. A gym? A physician's office? Also, how much did it cost?

i went to a nutritionist. $45 co pay and $75 for test which was not covered by insurance

I would just use sites like this -- they all are within 100 - 200 cals a day for me.  Plus I have a polar f11 and test my VO2 max mnthly cause it changes monthly and this is the important number for what you burn when working out - your calories fluctuate.  Also as you lose weight your RMR will change, as you workout more your VO2 changes so the calorie burn you get today will not be the same next month or even tomorrow
