1 1/10 tbs butter
2 green peppers
4 1/5 oz cheddar cheese
1 egg
1 cup heavy cream
2 4/5 fl oz egg beaters
6 1/10 oz onion

Recipe Directions for Roasted Poblano Pepper Crustless Quiche

  1. # Pre-heat oven to 325║.

  2. # Chop peeled poblanos into strips 1/4 wide by 2 inches long.

  3. SautÚ onions in 1 tbs butter until lightly browned.

  4. # Grate 1 cup colby jack cheese.

  5. # Lightly butter or oil a 9 inch pie pan.

  6. Layer 1/2 pepper and onions evenly.

  7. Add 1/2 of cheese to bottom of pan.

  8. # Layer remaining 1/2 pepper and onions atop cheese evenly.

  9. # Add remaining 1/2 of cheese.

  10. # Add dash of sea salt.

  11. # Beat together 3 eggs and enough cream and/or milk to make 1 1/2 cups of liquid.

  12. # Pour over ingredients.

  13. # Place in 325║ oven.

  14. # Bake for 30-40 minutes or until puffed and browned.
