What is exercise you ask?
Its whatever you do over and above your normal everyday activity. If you start taking the stairs instead of the elevator due to your wanting to improve your health this is exercise - if you park further from the door and walk extra - this is exercise. However if your work requires you to be on your feet running around all day - this is lifestyle and not exercise and should be added to your "activity level" in your account.. I think its important for you to be honest with yourself so you will truly get the benefit of this challenge.

78/1250 Got an early start with Wii fit and Wii Sports Boxing this morning
Question for this forum re counting use of Wii fit and other games. I'm using the elapsed time from my F4 as opposed to the Wii Fit exercise time (as reported at the end of each "game") or Wii game time. I think this is equivalent to a normal full body workout where there is a pause between each set. Even when doing a super-set with may trainer there is generally a short pause (10-30 secs depending one the exercise). This morning the Wii fit exercise time was 47 minutes, F4 was 67 minutes. Given the number of different "sets" I did that is about the same or close to a normal session in the gym (other than a 45 minute single machine cardio session that is). So what do others think? Is this an honest workout time for this challenge, or should I/(we Wii users) use the Wii Fit exercise time?

so I say go by the total time on the F4 - I know when I am wearing my HRM I press the start button as soon as I hit the gym and press stop when I leave. Sure there may be 5 - 10 minutes in between this time where I'm "resting between sets" or maybe even saying hi how are you to friends but for the most part I'm still working out.

daizymae: Way to go, half marathon! I can only dream of doing one with my lower back and right knee issues I couldn't even power walk one!
augette: Hang in there and don't give up. Like I used to tell my kids, "I can't" is not part of our vocabulary, not until you failed at least 1000 times!
... going to try to reach my goal early this month ... tired of getting down to the last day of the month!!
