I did my best with a group for motivation and challenges back in August.  I pretty much fell off the wagon and I am ready to start anew in 2009. 

Please consider joining this small group (Approximately 20 people) who are in their 30's-Plus to lose & stay motivated through June 15, 2009.

Week 1 - Introduce yourselves and thereafter, weigh-in and a new challenges each week.

I'm here and around, just not very much lately! :)

I'll read up on posts I've missed later... I'm fluctuating between 233 and 236 because I like Oreos and 3rd helpings and diet soda and other junk too much :) That'll do it! After I'm truly WELL again (been very sick and sick children, too) I hope with that and the weather I'll be able to pick up where I left off and continue on my path to good health! :)

SorryCry to hear that you are sick Steph. Hope you get better soon. My kids have been sick too. Been doing everything possible to keep myself healthy. Lots of OJ and vitamins trying not to get it.

I think I'm going to actually stop being in this group so that I'm not feeling the weekly pressure. I'm part of two longer term groups and I think I'll just stay with them for now. I hope I don't offend anyone! So sorry I haven't been on here enough to build any relationships but I'll still be around calorie-count and getting on this bandwagon again soon, I pray!! :) Good luck all and focus on your good health!!!

Weighed in today, roughly 3 lbs for this week, so I am at a total of 49 lbs so far.  Keeping an eye on June 15 and a possible 100 lbs by then.

Hi everyone. I haven't checked-in in a while so I wanted to touch base. I haven't weighed in this week but last week I was down a pound. As of that point I was at 167 and I'm heading for my goal of 150. I may lower it to 145 or 140 one I get there but I'm just tickled that I've gotten this far since I've never been below 180 my entire adult life. That's 17 pounds to go before June 15th. That's 12 weeks left. I can do it! Just in time for bathing suit seasonLaughing.

Congrats Minlyn.  Sounds like you are on the right track!

Hey all, hope everyone is doing great!  Did my weekly weigh-in and I'm down a total of 52.8 so far!  Just over the half-way mark to 100 lbs by June 15.  Keep up good work all.

Looks like the group is dying out here.  I know that I haven't been diligent in posting recently, but maybe this will get others back on track.  I am still focused on June 15.  I am currently down 64.2 lbs and would love to lose the next 36ish by mid-June.

The nice weather has allowed me to substitute in some long walks a couple of days a week rather than hitting the gym every day.

Hope all of you are doing well.
